Hear & Listen Audiologists provide a comprehensive test battery where all three parts of the hearing system is evaluated individually. A Diagnostic hearing evaluation always start with a full patient history regarding the problem(s) you are experiencing.

Tinnitus is not a disease, it is a symptom of some other underlying problem. Tinnitus or ringing in the ears, is the sensation of hearing ringing or other sounds without any external sound source. Tinnitus can be described as a buzzing, chirping, humming, hissing and whistling sound.

Hearing aid trails are a process in which the patient is able to wear hearing aids for a time period without having to purchase them.  The patient will be able to do the hearing aid trail with the specific type and technology level that he/she might be interested in purchasing.

Hearing aids will not always be able to amplify strong enough and alternative hearing devices will need to be fitted.  We will do comprehensive hearing evaluation in order to determine if the patient is a candidate for a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) of Cochlear implant system.
